We are a group of moms with kids in high school and beyond who meet twice a month, once for lunch (usually at a restaurant) and once early in the afternoon for a service project.

First Wednesdays for lunch and fellowship at 11:30 am, at various off-campus locations.

Third Wednesdays at 12:30 pm at the church, for our mission outreach service project, making heart pillows for women undergoing breast cancer treatment at a local hospital.

Light hand-sewing skills are helpful, but not required.  Expert pillow stuffers are also needed.  All supplies are provided.

Prayers and Squares

If you have an interest in sewing, knitting, or crocheting, we ladies of the prayer quilt and prayer shawl ministry invite you to join our group for fun and fellowship as we learn and share new projects and ideas.  Fabric, sewing machines, notions, and tools are available or bring your own!

This prayer quilt and prayer shawl ministry gathers on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month 2:00 – 5:00 pm in Room 303. For more information, contact Nancy Keifer, Bettie Martinez or the church office.

We have many completed prayer quilts and prayer shawls available for tying and prayers, and we encourage your requests for these wherever you see the need. The recipient should be asked if they would like a prayer quilt or shawl. Request forms may be filled our in the church office.
As women of the church, we strive to connect, one to the other whether it is through small group studies and fellowship, around service, or in larger cross-generational events. We walk with one another on our faith journeys through prayer, fellowship, and support.
For more information about any of these groups or events, connect with the contact person or our Associate Pastor, Laura Grice.
