Family Promise of Montgomery County seeks to transform the lives of families with children experiencing homelessness through a 90 day program which provides shelter, meals, transportation and compassionate assistance. In early 2022, Family Promise opened their new Guest Center where each homeless family, up to 6 families at a time, have their own bedroom and bathroom. Each child is given the opportunity to choose which “bed in a bag” they want. This will create a sense of having something that is special just for them, which they can take with them when their family leaves the program.
