Every year Chaplains at the International Seafarers’ Center personally deliver Christmas Boxes along with best wishes to seafarers on ships that dock in Houston during the holiday season. This year, due to the pandemic, these boxes may be the only way to brighten the lives of these seafarers who have not seen their families for many months because they have been unable to leave their vessels.

As a mission project the youth at The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church will be gathering the items for, packing, wrapping and delivering all the Christmas Boxes to the International Seafarers’ Center in Houston. The youth will use the proceeds from the sponsorship of these boxes will be used to purchase Seafarer Box items and Angel Tree gifts for children in programs run by Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services.
