Received May 2020:

Today is so bittersweet for us! I do not have the words to tell you how truly amazing The Early Learning Program school is and how much love and knowledge they brought to my children this year. I’m so sad my son wasn’t able to have a full year at this school before moving on to Kinder next year, but I am so grateful for the time we did have. This school holds a super special place in my heart. They go above and beyond for this community and our children. Today, my son received his precious end of school book with pictures and things he has made throughout the year and then he was able to visit with his teachers and friends from the car in the parking lot. It was so sweet and truly special. My other son is so ready to go back next year! We love ELP!

I cried all the way home from the Cardinal memory book pick-up! I started crying before we even arrived driving down Panther Creek and thinking of how many times I’d driven that road and that I’d never again drive it to drop a little one off at ELP. I am sitting here typing this and crying! I did not expect to have this reaction. It’s the end of an era for us.

I feel so lucky that I found ELP and that my kids had the privilege of feeling the love, the love of learning, acceptance, and appreciation of life and children that ELP breathes. There is something magical about the school, and y’all are such a huge part of this. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. Cards are dropping in the mail, but I didn’t want to wait. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful summer and stay healthy!

Lots of love

“I Just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we love ELP and the community here.  It’s everything I’ve been searching for in terms of an early childhood experience for our children.  As someone who has a Master of Art in teaching with an early childhood focus, I’m incredibly picky about what I wanted with my own kids’ preschool experience.  I’ve found ELP meets my very high hopes.  I’ve toured SO many schools in The Woodlands area since moving here, looking for what I knew had to be out there.  I became frustrated and I almost thought of starting a school at one point.  I am a huge believer in “let them be little” as well as a play-based approach to education.  So many places fall short in our academic push down culture.  “Play-based” is a buzz word many schools like to claim, but so few know what it really means or live up to it.  We need more preschools with what used to be the norm: block centers, process art, sensory bins, songs at circle time, dress up areas and above all plenty of time playing outside.  So we are thrilled to have found ELP.  Thank you for all that you and the ELP team do.”

Today was our Last Day for the School Year at ELP until Fall! Many emotions, Tears (Happy ones) and memories made here by everyone! I have to say when searching for school for my son I hit Many bumps in the road, heard more “No” then “Yes” and was VERY frustrated with the whole Public school system. Yet, God had a plan and he lead me to ELP and I am BLESSED to have my son a part of the ELP Family! Ms. Cindy knew this was God’s plan and she finally allowed me to trust her and she gave me my “Yes!”… Today her and I looked back at where we started and where my son has come this far. ELP and ELP Staff have allowed him to Blossom and we will forever be Thankful!!!
And His teachers were COMPLETE GOD SENT AND AMAZING!!!!!
Needless to say ELP has a VERY special place in our Hearts!!!

ELP doesn’t just teach our babies their ABC’s and 123’s… ELP teaches so much more! My son knew that the Chapel was where he could go to pray for his Poppi! He found the Chapel at the Hospital. ELP is the best! We love ELP and so glad we are now apart of the ELP Family!

Last week the ELP staff prayed for each child by name and prayed over the pillows and quilts that the preK and transition children are receiving this week at their growing up ceremonies. We prayed that these little pillows will hold many prayers for years to come, and that they will be forever treasures and constant reminders of the foundation of love and faith in their early childhood years.

They come home from school excited to tell me about their day. They begin in the classroom with true interactive learning through play. My favorite thing and theirs is the playground!! I can’t believe the “outside classroom” exists and is tended to with such loving care.  Everything that ELP does is about the kids, and fostering a love for each other and Jesus.”– (January 2018)

I found ELP after touring 12 different schools in the area. I had been on a mission to find the best preschool and knew we found it when we toured ELP. When my daughter and I walked through the doors at ELP she immediately let go of my hand and rushed in to explore. Of all the schools we toured together, this was one of the only schools where my shy and reserved daughter had done this. The play-based learning, amazing playground, and loving staff are just a few of the things that we love about this school for both our kids. It isn’t really school to them, but this amazing place to go where they play with friends and make memories! This fun environment has made both of my kids love learning and love school. I can’t say enough good about ELP and how much our whole family loves it. I can count on both hands the number of friends we have recommended ELP to and all of them love it just as much as we do.

We stumbled on ELP through another families’ recommendation, and I immediately fell in love with how much it felt like family from the get go!  At that time my kiddos were 3 and 18 months and so many other places we had toured felt like daycare drop off or too institutionalized.  This felt like I was dropping my kids off for the ultimate play date with close friends.  And it has been! From the live nativity with camels every Christmas to my personal favorite, Road Rally where the kids ride bikes in the parking lot (complete with “car wash” and “gas station”).  The activities and experiences my children have had at ELP rival none! The only thing better is the relationships my children have with their teachers and the other staff at ELP.  Finding ELP has been the best thing about raising kiddos in The Woodlands and I will miss it so much when my youngest graduates next spring!!

What does ELP mean to me as a mommy? I began this journey looking for a preschool that would offer a curriculum that started with shaping their minds and hearts through play and guided interaction. I can honestly say I found these things and so much more at ELP. I have a five year old and a two year old that have graduated and are currently attending ELP.  They come home from school excited to tell me about their day. They begin in the classroom with true interactive learning through play. My favorite thing and theirs is the playground!! I can’t believe the “outside classroom” exists and is tended to with such loving care.  Everything that ELP does is about the kids, and fostering a love for each other and Jesus.  Along the way some how they are ready to walk through the gates of elementary school with confidence and character beyond words. I am thankful and forever grateful that ELP has given and continues to give my children the foundation of love for learning and one another.

Can’t say enough positive things about this school. It has been an amazing place for my son for the past 2 years. Everyone is so loving and caring. They take the time to figure out how your particular child learns best. Everything is hands on and there is a lot of messy fun. They have so many fun activities throughout the year. Parents are always welcome too. They have a playground teacher who creates special learning areas outside, chapel teacher and motor movement classes. Excellent 5 star school.

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! Education is just HUGE in our family as most are educators. I spent numerous hours researching preschools here in Houston as we moved here in June. I feel just blessed that my son received the last open spot for the 2011-2012 school year. Ms. Betty & Ms. Betsy are the most living teachers! My son who was very timid at first has totally come out of his shell and now asks all day when is school? I love that he loves his school. I love when I see the teachers get down on his level and show him attention. I love that they love these children. I am thrilled that when I drop him off he now runs in the room ready to be with his teachers and friends. I just could not ask for anything more! Rita, the director is sincere. I see her everyday in the halls and speaking directly with the children. She understands educution…she truly knows how to make learning fun for children. Thank you ELP staff for LOVING these children. You have made me one very happy mommy! THANKS!

I can not say enough great things about ELP. My daughter learned so much academically and really grew socially here. She is excelling in Kindergarten and I give most of the credit to this school. The teachers are so warm and fuzzy here. They made learning FUN for her. I wish she could stay there for her entire elementary!!

This is a wonderful preschool. Both my sons spent 3 years here from ages 2 through pre-K 4. I can honestly say there is not a bad teacher at this school. The entire staff is warm and caring, so I always felt 100% comfortable leaving my kids here. The school’s philosophy is nurturing ‘the whole child’. Not only do the kids learn the essential preschool academic skills and independence for kindergarten, but the school teaches the kids to be kind, sensitive, and caring individuals. Way to go Miss. Rita! You have set the bar high.

I love this pre-school. The teachers and administrative staff are amazing. They have years-upon-years of experience and know how to connect with the children, excite them, and teach them.
