Responding with Compassion
When we see the great need around us, we can't help but reach out in compassionate service.
"I was hungry and you gave me food...naked and you gave me clothing."
Matthew 25:35, 36
Loaves & Fishes
Every first Sunday of the month, we purchase salad ingredients and take them to Loaves & Fishes in Houston. We stay to help serve the homeless folks who depend on this good meal.
Love Your Neighbor Day
Every January, we hold a one-day mission blitz! Keep your calendar open for January 2010.
Peanut Butter Factory for Houston Food Bank
Every year we spend a day making Peanut Butter. Watch the Life of the Church (weekly newsletter in the worship bulletin) for details.
Christmas Boxes for Seafarers
Every Christmas season a Chaplain from the Port of Houston International Seafarer Center personally presents a gift to every seafarer who arrives in the port. This gift, lovingly packed in a shoe box and decorated with festive wrapping paper, is provided by someone in the Houston area. You can provide a Christmas Box. Watch the Life of the Church and Newsletter in October for details.

The Deacons
Everyone at WCPC has an opportunity to contribute a gift for the Adopt-a-Family program of Interfaith of The Woodlands. Watch for details in the Life of the Church and the Newsletter.
Hand Me Up Shop
Advocate
Michele Stelter
Every 4th Saturday of the month, we staff the Woodlands Interfaith Hand Me Up Resale Shop from 10:00 AM to Noon. Additional workers are always needed.
Interfaith Food Pantry
There are always hungry families around us, and so the pantry in the Narthex is always open for contributions. We highlight different food and useful household items every month. But you can bring any non-perishable food and personal hygiene items any time, and we will deliver them to Woodlands Interfaith for you.
