Curriculum
The Early Learning Program preschool curriculum provides each child the opportunity to be actively involved in the learning process through appropriate practices of play, exploration and experiences involving the senses. Activities planned throughout the day offer large and fine motor development skills, active and quiet times and cooperative play as well as individual play. E.L.P. gives children time to be children.
Our program has been tailored to meet the needs of the children rather than expecting the children to adjust to demands of a specific program.
The Early Learning Program offers a Christian environment and integrates a planned Christian curriculum. The children meet together on a weekly basis for a brief Chapel time, where simple Bible stories and songs teach them of God's love. Our Goal is to enhance each child's ability to deal with, from a Christian perspective, the moral and spiritual aspects of his/her environment.
Teachers
Our staff is friendly, warm, and loving. The teachers all have experience in early childhood education. Each year staff members complete many hours of continuing education through professional conferences. CPR certification is renewed annually for all teachers. All teachers are First Aid certified.
