WCPC MISSION OUTREACH

Provide Hospitality

The sojourner...shall come and eat and be filled.

—Deuteronomy 14:29

Birthday Parties

Millie readies for the party.

Every August we host the Birthday Party at Copperwood Apartments, for disabled and elderly residents.  This is a fun way to do something important for our closest neighbors.

Sam leads the singing.

Every 4th Wednesday at 10:30am you’ll find our energetic Worship Team at Regent Healthcare Center. They are always looking for hand-holders, singers and scripture readers.  Bring your small children, too!

Pat joins the fun.

It looks like a party, with decorations, crafts, music, food and lots of fun. It is actually a respite ministry for families affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.  New helpers are always welcome! This program is made possible through Interfaith CarePartners.

Casa Juan Diego

Mark and Louise Zwick have dedicated

their lives to Casa Juan Diego.

On an occasional basis, we give practical support to Casa Juan Diego, a shelter for Spanish-speaking immigrants in Houston. We may play with the children or do maintenance chores, so no Spanish is required.

Almost 200 people attend English as a Second Language on our campus. We are happy to provide a children’s program for the day students. This program includes a preschool for Kindergarten preparation.
